History of Angel Kiss Foundation

Angel Kiss Foundation was founded in Virginia in 1990 after the death of five-year-old Jarryd. Jarryd was diagnosed with leukemia in 1987, and his grandparents, David and Barbara Rosin, recognized the overwhelming costs associated with the disease, over and above medical expenses. In Jarryd=s memory, the Angel Kiss Foundation was established and named for a birthmark on his cheek, which the family referred to as Jarryd's Angel Kiss.

The Rosins relocated to Reno in 1995 and realized that because there was no pediatric oncology treatment center in Northern Nevada, children and their families had to travel out of state for treatment. From personal experience, and understanding the astronomical costs associated with cancer, the Rosins saw the need for an organization to help families in northern Nevada.

Since 1997, Angel Kiss Foundation has helped more than ***** local families by providing more than ****** in assistance.
